Virat Kohli Joined The Elite Club

Once again Virat Kohli proved that if scoring runs and creating records is an art, then he is the Picasso of it. He made his 50th test match as a Indian Captain memorable with a double century against South Africa at Pune. He remained not out on 254 when he declared the first inning which is his best inning score in test career so far.

During his marathon inning of 254, he completed 7000 runs in test cricket in just 138 innings. It was his 7th double century in test cricket and now he became only fourth batsman in the history of test cricket with seven or more double tones. Now only Don Bradman (12), Kumar Sangakara (11) and Brian Lara (09) are ahead of him in number of most double centuries in test cricket.
