Tram travel in Melbourne

There are no trams in India anymore. I  travelled by trams in the metro a long time ago.  While on  package travel of Australia,  we chose to take a day off from sightseeing and spent a whole day doing what we wanted to do. 

We are put up in great hotels but never get to enjoy their comforts as hardly any time is spent there  This decision to take time off, gave us this opportunity.  I had a leisured bath, watched a movie, strolled around the hotel premises to breathe in the beauty. 

In the evening we decided to experience tram travel.  Trams in Melbourne I noticed were sleek in every respect.  There was help all the time as announcements were made so that passengers could get off at their respective stops.  

We had a great time looking around the interiors of Melbourne,  the route the tram took. 

A great memory created.
