Tourism is in hibernation

Nothing can be done for tourism at this moment since travel has suffered a sad fate with the travel bans. Airlines have been crying for help and some airline companies have laid off hundreds of their workers to cut down on the overhead. That is understandable considering that the business is down with only a few flights in a day which is not enough to cover the daily costs of maintaining the company.

Nepal and India which are relying for the Chinese tourists during the summer festival are now suffering a big loss in income. The cherry blossoms of Japan in April will be just a spectacle for the Japanese and no more tourists for now. With Nepal, the same thing that their accommodations will not be filled anymore for the Chinese tourists are gone.
