I had an interesting conversation with a part of our public speaking crew. He was preparing for a new presentation about relationships.
He introduced the model of a tit for tat relationship and Virily came to mind, along with many other writing sites. It was interesting to look at the site from a relationship point of view.
While the goal of the site is to bring as much traffic to the site as possible and make a profit. The goal for the writers is to make payout. In a tit for tat relationship, you would comment on the post of those who commented on yours. If that is all that happens the site will not survive overtime.
A symbiotic relationship between the writers and the site owners is the only way a writing can survive over time. How do we create a symbiotic relationship?
If anyone here is interested in how to work together to make this happen, I will continue on with this. If there is no interest, I will let it rest.
