The value of old pictures

As what the song says, photographs and memories. Old pictures never fail to invoke the recall of moments usually when I was younger or during the so called good old days. The place, the people, the situation and even the smell sometimes come back to haunt us. For the younger generation, old pictures are not so much like for an old man like me, the memories of 50 years ago would definitely be history and more likely could not be fully remembered anymore.

In this digital age, lucky are the young ones that they can preserve the moments not only with pictures but also with videos. Think of the future when they become old that they could see how they moved, how they smiled and how they laughed out loud. Truly the photographs will not be the same but the memories would be more vivid.
