The tame birds

In the picture is the bird that we call Bato-bato which literally means stone. I don’t know why it was called as such but I remember that name when my father would bring me along in his hunting trip in the boondocks. I had seen that kind of bird many times so there is no doubt that it is the Bato-bato.

That bird is one tame bird that is not afraid of humans. I always see them near me and just pecking on the ground as if I was not there. Maybe I can provide them with some grains but I do not want an attachment. Birds just fly and soon they are gone.
