I think it was the movie Men In Black where there was a pug that caught the attention of the movie goers. When we go out in public we have noticed that our pug gets the most attention. People are focused on our brown pug and seemed to ignore our 2 white dogs who are cute and we think cuter than our pug.

Anyway, the pug is a unique breed with the funny or amusing face. The more creases on the face, the higher the quality of the breed. That is according to one dog breeder. Maybe the unique appearance of the pug makes it charming with appeal.
