The prolific star fruit

When I was offered the star fruit sapling in a big rubber pot in the nursery, I thought twice because the price was quite high. My father said that it cannot be cheap because it is a sapling with fruits already. More likely it was cultured or grafted. That made up my mind to buy the star fruit sapling.

The small fruits grew and matured. After the first harvest of 2 fruits, there were smaller ones that appeared. And it came to pass that the sapling had grown to a small tree that is fruiting every once in a while. Until now after 15 years, we have harvested countless of star fruits that are always sweet.
