The outbreak in the market

Some 2 months ago there was a suspected outbreak that started in our town market. Suddenly there was a checkpoint in the entrance that every shopper has to enter the spray tent that has a mist of disinfectant aside from the thermal scanner. Another thing is the quarantine pass that we have to secure from the community office. No quarantine pass, no entry. They were so strict.

But I don’t think those restrictions were able to reduce the cases of covid in our town. Why so? The contamination is coming from the patients and not from the shoppers in the market. There are so many loose talks but common sense tells me that those people in the market are wearing face mask and face shield so they are safe.

  • Do you go to the market every day?

    • Yes
