The occasions may be skipped this year

We have skipped Holy Week. That is the Lenten season for Catholics which is big deal in our country. We have the traditional activities like fasting, processions and parade, flagellants on the road and the Bible reading with chanting.

Now that Halloween is nearing it makes me realize that we have no way of celebrating occasions anymore. I dread to think that Santa Claus is not coming to town this year. Christmas will be bleak.
