The jockey in the family

My wife has 3 brothers who were race horse jockeys. Her eldest brother is a star jockey that is in the top 10 jockeys in our country. Being a star jockey means the earnings would be very good. He had bought 3 houses. The other 2 brothers were just mediocre riders although they had given a good  life to their families with their income.

Now that we are in the pandemic era there is no horse racing. All horses are grounded in the stable which means the riders have no means of income. For 6 months their pockets are going dry. I wonder what the government is doing to that industry. There are more than 300 jockeys that are jobless now.
