In our latest trip to a small commercial center I saw the food court area with about 10 diners. Considering that it was nearing lunch time so I guess that is the usual number of customers there. The food court has more than 15 booths of different kinds of food, native and foreign dishes.
As per my observation I don’t think those booths could make it break even with the sales vis-à-vis the overhead. It was a Saturday morning and it should be the peak hour. If the government will not lift a finger to help then eateries will close shop sooner or later.

Do you go to the mall?

Yes

It is a tough new world out there. Around here the closest places to me are shopping areas but no malls. They are much farther and I cannot get there so I do not know how crowded they get.
