It was more than 10 years ago when I chanced upon a vendor selling cashew apple or cashew fruit. It is already exotic since the orchards in our province are being converted to residential villages. I bought 5 pieces of the fruit which, according to the vendor, was harvested from their own farm. Okay, nice to hear that.
After eating the fruits, I planted the cashew seeds. They are actually the nuts but I did not eat and decided to propagate. Now I have a big tree that is bearing fruit every April of the year in time for the harvest in May.
