We had a maid who worked for us for a while and then left the place to go back to her native place. She did this each time it was time to attend to her farm She grew sunflowers and sold the seeds to oil mills.
These workers are not poor but they do not waste their time when there is no work for them in their own place they travel to towns seeking work.
During such a trip I asked her to get me sunflower seeds from her farm which she did and this flower is from those seeds.

Sunflower production is big here. I love sunflowers, they are cheerful plants. I like eating the seeds too.
I have not tried eating the seeds but I know they are packed with goodness
