Simple yet exotic

This croton has occupied a full border in our garden running into several feet.  I had picked a cutting from a garden while living in the city years ago and brought it here with me.  We were able to multiply it by planting cuttings and now we have a surplus.

Most gardeners I know do not care for this croton as it is common but I have many common plants that retain the colour of our garden when flowers do not bloom.

Crotons are easy to maintain and those who have no time for flowers that take a lot of time and care should go for crotons.
