Seafood galore

During summer occasions, crabs and other seafood are always part of the feast for any occasion. But for the yuletide season, I seldom see crabs on the table and even prawns are rare. They say that the price of seafood becomes exorbitant during December as if it is an opportunity for the vendors since customers are willing to buy.

In our tradition, we don’t indulge in food that is exorbitant in cost. As long as it is affordable then it is welcome to the dining table for our Christmas reunion. We have the whole roasted pig anyway which is always the centerpiece of the feast. But this year we are planning to find a good seafood particularly crabs in the hope that the price is affordable to our budget.
