We had a creeper of passion fruits that yielded profusely. Our gardener sadly deep pruned it and we lost this vine.
The flower represents the Passion of Christ and so it got its name. The fruits are the size of small oranges and they turn yellow when fully ripe. The pulp is juicy – sweet and sour. It contains many seeds but one can drink the juice along with the seeds. One needs to add a little of water and sugar to make the juice.

Unfortunately, in my country, passion fruit is failing.
Sometimes some species just disappear. Sad to hear that.
