Pakistan team is still number one despite losing eight out of ten T20 matches this year. So It can be gauged how well this team has played in the last two years. In the last two years, the Pakistani team has lost only four out of 29 matches.
The question arises as to what are the reasons for the sudden defeat.? I think the appointment of Misbah-ul-Haq’s as a coach and chief selector proved to be disastrous for this team. The exact deduction was accomplished by the captain’s change and the decision to drop several key players. In this entire series, no other batsman, apart from Babar Azam and Iftikhar Ahmed, could compete against Australian bowling. The conditions of the bowling unit were also remain worse than the batting lineup in entire series.
