In the picture is the fruit called Duhat. It has English names but I will not mention it here to avoid confusion. The black fruit has a big seed that is covered by thin flesh and the skin. Eating is by scraping the seed of the flesh and the skin. The taste is sweet with a little acrid taste. Duhat is getting rare now that it is not available in the market already.
We have so many native fruits that are considered exotic but missing in the market already. The main reason is the land. Most of the orchards are being turned into residential villages. That means goodbye to the native fruits.

My childhood home in Florida has exotic fruit trees. We had a Chinese plum tree and a mango tree. I have never heard of Duhat. In fact, I don’t know very many fruits that are black.
