When it comes to gardening, I am for edibles and I have no penchant for ornamental plants. However, my wife is the opposite because she loves ornamental plants and only likes the edibles for the harvest. As a compromised, there are parts in the garden that has ornamental plants like that one in the picture.
We also have the sampaguita which is our national flower aside from the pointsettia which is a symbol of Christmas. That plant usually bear nice red flowers in December. We also have marigold but it is not flowering anymore. Maybe it needs fertilizer or the spray to make it flower. Now I am trying to learn how to tend ornamental plants.
