Office meeting for a serious matter

Whenever we would hold a meeting in the office for serious matters, our boss would always tell us to be sincere and dedicated to our job. I understand where he is coming from. When the company goes down we would be left with no job and that would be a disaster for all of us.

When I was promoted as manager in our company, that was also my spiel when I hold a meeting, seriously or not. It is nice to remember that I had been part and a contributor to the progress of our company.
