If you look at what ““La Caresse du Mistral house ” is online you find . the house belonged to a woman who was in a tragic car accident and was paralyzed because of it . the house was built to give her new energy and the windows and walk ways so wide so she could see everything and not harm or hurt herself by moving around the house on her own. She had severe health problems because of her injuries( hens the ventilator) .
The house was built in the late 1990’s and when she past away it was left abandoned in 2005 . The walk way to the other house they speak about is just that . they had a second house built in a matching style connected to hers for what I assume was another family member to be close to her. She had a passion for life and holidays .. That’s why there is so much Halloween and Christmas decor. The thought was to make the house open and full of life for her so she would not feel stuck or alone!
