During the lockdown, only the pharmacy and food stores were open. But their operating hours are shortened to 8 hours only. That caused the long lines in the stores and pharmacies because they cannot accommodate all the customers.
When the lockdown was eased and more businesses were opened, the pharmacy was permitted to be open for 24 hours. That full 24/7 operation was convenient for the customers that there are no more long lines.
