Missing the joyride

Our dogs love the joyride when we go to the Sunday market in the early morning. They would be loitering (with a leash) in an artificial lawn while we are buying food items in the market. When we wake up on Sundays, our dogs already know that we have a joyride.

But since the lockdown 3 months ago, our dogs look sad that they just sleep in the morning. No need to wake up even on Sundays. It’s like they know what is happening. For a consolation, we go to the regular market on weekends as the joyride. It is very near and the dogs know it but I think they still enjoy the short ride.
