Maria
La Alberca is a small village in Spain, 58 km from Portugal, and worth a visit. Situated in the heart of Las Batuecas Natural Park, the village has a traditional and very well-preserved rural architecture (recently recovered). Although there are several hermitages, a beautiful church or some places of particular interest, the visit is worth the opportunity to stroll leisurely through the village’s stony streets.
We stopped here when we visited the Sanctuary of Penha de Francia and we loved it.
