Kanyakumari is the Southernmost tip of the Indian Peninsula where the Bay of Bengal, the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea meet.
All three seas have different coloured sand. It is a roaring business there when tourists get enamoured when they come to know of this. Everyone rushes to buy sand in these colours which are sold in small packets. We too got mesmerised by this and we too bought loads of packets for distribution back home.
If one stands on the beach and looks as far as possible one can see the 3 seas as they are of different hues. This we experienced.
