For years I have used plastic bowls. It seemed like the kids would break them, or maybe they were less expensive. I finally made the switch and purchased these glass bowls. I love that there are so many different sizes and they nest so well. Clean up is much easier in a glass bowl and I am able to chill the bowl and that helps will so many recipes. I love this set.

I think the mixing bowls should be heavy especially the glass bowls.
I would consider switching but I have issues with both hands due to Carpo-Tunnel as well as Myleopathy which is why I generally use plastic. I would think glass would actually be better though! Are these mixing bowls heavy?
