Ice cream and cake are the 2 essentials for the children’s party. It is in our culture to have cake and ice cream to give a feel of a real celebration. It doesn’t matter if there are guests or not but the cake and ice cream should be present for the child to appreciate his day.
It is really sad that a birthday party cannot be held anymore because of the quarantine rules that minors are not allowed to go out of the house. But a birthday can still be celebrated with a little singing and some special food aside from the ice cream and cake.

That is for sure birthdays cannot be celebrated like they once were. We have to more or less stay home and celebrate at home.
