There was partial darkness for a while around 9 this morning and that was the time I grabbed my camera and got this shot. I did not look at the sun but just the screen of my camera as we were told it is bad for the eyes to look at the sun during the eclipse.
That halo round the sun is what makes this photo a piece of art. We will not get it again in a hurry.

Nicely done, Grace. That is very difficult to capture. There was no solar eclipse here, but a couple of years ago I took some photos of a lunar eclipse (much easier!)
