Helichrysum

Resembling Chrysanthemums Helichrysums are the most used for making dry flower arrangements.  The petals of these flowers feel like plastic. They stay for long periods even when the stems are not placed in water 

Helichrysums are seasonal and are propagated through seeds.  I did try my hand but was not successful. It has all to do with the potency of seeds  Online purchases are not to be relied on.  The best is to get seeds from friends on perhaps a barter basis.  But no one here grows this nor do I see seasonal flowers. 

I will have to look for genuine online suppliers and give them a try once again.
