Replacing the eyeglasses is not cheap. The estimated cost given to me was $210 that includes the new frame and the new lenses while the service of the optometrist is free. But I thought that I needed new eyeglasses so I underwent the testing of my eyes.
Fortunately I do not need new lens since my eyes have the same grade. The lack of focus was due to the broken nose pad. They replaced the nose pad for free and I was on my way back home with no expense incurred.

I have had eyeglasses since grade school. For some time I also wore contact lenses but when they got too expensive I went back to wearing eyeglasses.
