Having a mechanic in the neighborhood

We regularly bring our car to the dealer’s shop for the preventive maintenance. It is quite expensive in the dealer’s shop but we trust their checkup and their parts are also original. But when minor problems appear in the car it is not wise to bring it to the dealer’s shop for the charge

I approached the mechanic in the neighborhood. He said that he can fix the power windows. The controller is the problem and he can improvise. When the problem was fixed I realized that I had saved more than 500 dollars in the cost of repair.
