Goa a State of beaches

Some beaches are known but some,  one will only know if they comb the entire State.  This map has all the beaches of Goa. 

Visiting Goa in the rains is what I did a few years ago. It looked so different – lush green and the seas pregnant with angry waters. 

The well known beaches are Colva, Bogmalo,Candolim, Calangute, Baga, Anjuna, Dona Paula and Mirmar.  I have visted all these beaches and the one I have great memory of is the Mirmar beach. The seashore is the largest and one needs to walk for quite a while to get to the sea. 

We were put up at one of the Government cottages – walking distance from the beach.
