Generosity begets generosity

Our banana harvest was pretty good with 8 clusters having 16 fruits per cluster. With the many banana for sure we cannot consume all of it so we gave away the 7 clusters to friends and neighbors. It is better to give the banana than to have it wasted.

One of them came and gave us the native snack in the picture. The white one is called Palitaw which is made from ground glutinous rice, steamed and rolled onto grated coconut. The brown one is called Cochinta which is made from flour and coconut milk. So nice to eat those blessings that arrived.

  • Do you give food to your neighbors?

    • Yes
    • No
    • only when there is an excess
    • sometimes
