Fruits that are ripened in the tree

When I was a boy, I remember my grandmother telling me that fruits ripened in the tree is the best. I was always thinking of that so when I pick a guava I would check if it can be eaten or if it is really ripe.

But when I became an adult I got to know about fruits and trees that some fruits cannot be ripened in the tree for they will either be eaten by the birds or insects or they will fall on the ground. The mango is an example that is not good to ripen in the tree.

  • Do you wait for the fruit to ripen in the tree?

    • Yes
    • No
    • sometimes
