This is something that I rarely read about but surely affects anyone who goes the gym for the first time or changes gym.
I’ve been going to the gym for some time (around 8 years), but a few of my friends fall into either of these 2 categories:
a) They want to go to gym but are worried that they might be somewhat embarrassed of being a 40+ year old walking into a weights room
b) They have mustered up the courage to go to a gym but they feel a little anxiety every time that they go
I too have been in both of these categories at some point but what I found to really overcome this is the following:
1) Try and make some friends that visit the gym around the same time.
2) Some pre-workout supplements are great for improving your focus on your workout rather than those around you.
3) Take a few deep breaths just before walking in.

Never enter and sign up any course yet so far. Maybe next year.
