Everything around us has its own life

We should always remember that things beyond our control live their own lives and are not going to reckon with us. Everything around us lives its own life, it is not our servant and is not obliged to please our eyes when we want. We can only rejoice that at some point in time our paths crossed and we enjoyed the beauty we saw.

Same thing with people. They love us when they themselves want to love us. They give gifts while they themselves want. They help around the house and in life while they want to. But this desire can pass – by itself or as a result of our actions.

In the first case, there is nothing left to do but to reconcile, because pressure and demand will only worsen the situation. But we can try to prevent the second case. It is up to us.
