Please keep in mind that these drones aren’t meant to be stand alone subjects- rather, they will be included in the context of Intensified Light. The drone would be about the size of her head and hovering in the upper right hand corner of the piece…
Also note that the white drone (featured) now has the diffused beam that was absent in the previous lineup

I like the article, good description article.
I felt it was less of an article and more of a beauty pageant, but glad you like it
Went with the black, I think the contrast will be good with the orange lights and other dark colors.
we’ll give it a try after I get some things sorted
Sounds like a man with a plan.
or at least a guy with a schedule
I went with the white drone since a light color on a dark background gives it some more appeal.
contrast is a great concern of mine
It is great to have contrast working on an art of work.
it certainly does most of the heavy lifting when it comes to visual impact
You are correct in this matter.
I prefer the white one, but the black or blue would probably be more in keeping with the drone’s purposes.
On one hand, I would like everything to look realistic but ultimately if I can only choose one then I’d rather it looks good
Yeppers and sometimes what is different is what makes it art.
Agreed. I am not going for photoreal anyway…
White looks a bit more professional, but I prefer the black one (both red and blue). Maybe that’s because it feels like it suits the environment best, or more likely, I just like black. 😛
Good to see White got the diffused light as well. 😀
thanks so much for explaining your decision process, that’s very valuable to me
