I had only known one type of doughnuts that I have tried making at home with disastrous results. When I was in the US on holiday, my niece bought doughnuts of so many varieties. I was balled over.
Each of the doughnuts had different flavours and I liked the one that had a chocolate flavour. Chocolates are my favourite snack. She then went back to the Mall and picked up just chocolate doughnuts to satiate my craving for them. I had my fill
We do not get such varieties here unless I order for them online.

I love donuts but I have never tried doing them at home. I am sure my result won’t be as good as store-bought donuts.
Same here. Mine were disasters. Have not tried them in a while
Yup. Specialized doughnut shops like Mr. Donut and Dunkin Donuts, among others, are popular here in the Philippines. They serve a variety of doughnuts with different fillings and glazing.
A group of students once made doughnuts made of sweet potatoes. They were delicious.
But my favorite variety is the plain un-glazed doughnut. A perfect partner for a cup of coffee.
Before I kick the bucket I want to taste the doughnuts that are available in your country (lol)
