Faisalabad is the 3rd largest city in Pakistan. Faisalabad is the 2nd largest city in province of Punjab. Faisalabad’s old name was Lyallpur. The city is famous for its eight markets. In the center of these eight Bazaar is a clock tower. Which is more than a hundred years old and still stands today. It was founded on November 14, 1903 by a British lieutenant governor of Punjab Sir Charles Riwaz and the biggest local landlord belonging to the Mian Family of Abdullahpur. These markets are made of the British era. The map of the eight Bazaar corresponds to the British flag. Faisalabad is also called industrial city because there are huge industries here, like the Ibrahim Group, Sitara Group and Nishat Group of Industries. Agricultural University of Faisalabad, Asia’s largest agricultural University in Faisalabad. There is also an International Airport, Railway Station, Stadium, Parks, Shopping Malls and 3D-Cinemas in Faisalabad.
