Discussion about work

The morning began with a stormy discussion at work. What a lovely play on words: at work – a discussion about work. We with my assistant talked that social networks were shaking by a new way of working.

Everybody works. Who’s brewing coffee, who’s testing a new face cream, who’s baking banana bread or sinking in silk bedding with a bouquet of flowers, who’s wearing ultra-fashionable jeans, looking for concert tickets, flying to Barcelona, having lunch at a restaurant – the most important thing to call it as a work.

Don’t get me wrong: I don’t think that fashion to work is bad, although I know from experience that overdoing it is not healthy either. The key to working day and night is to achieve real results. 

And maybe you can even imitate the legendary phrase “fake it till you make it”, just remember that to hold work in your hands when it is born and got a shape, is a far greater reward than a photo on the social network no matter how beautiful it is.

By no means am I am judging or criticizing because we are all masters of our lives, just I emphasize – let’s not forget sometimes those other real jobs.
