Desiderata 2

“Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter;for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.”

I don’t know about you, I don’t use the word vexations enough to know what it really means so I found this definition. “

vex·a·tion (vĕk-sā′shən) n. 1. The condition of being vexed; annoyance: frowned in vexation. 2. A source of irritation or annoyance: could no longer bear the vexations of the job.”

Now that I have seen the definition I have experienced the “word” before and just not known the label.
