Corn plus rice for frugality

There was a time that rice had a shortage and people were cooking rice and corn together in a pot. Corn was also forced by the government to be eaten so the ration was rice but you have to buy the same quantity of corn. It was during the martial law years.

Now it seems that we are going to have another shortage of food items and rice may be one of that. Perhaps we can again practice to eat corn with rice. At least the corn is healthy according to Manny Pacquiao.
