Colocasia (taro) speciality

Colocasia (taro) leaves are used to make several dishes  This speciality is made by shredding it finely and adding it to ground rice paste to which some spices are added to one’s taste. 

It is then steamed and cut into pieces as seen in the photo  There is a special roasted coconut curry that goes well with it. 

This speciality is a wholesome meal, tasty and healthy too.
