In the nearby farm, I always check the chickens and counting the chicks. It is interesting to see that there are still small farms in our village with chickens, some in cages and some are loose. It gives me a feeling that we are not in a suburban town but in a rural town that is far from Manila.
The chickens provide meat to the owners and they sometimes offer me chicken meat. But today they gave me fresh eggs that they collected from the nest. After boiling the eggs, it was really nice to eat an organic egg that is for real and not produced by chemicals.

They should let them run loose. That cage is not healthy to have more than one in. I feel very sad for those chickens.
