Bromelia – a welcome invader.

Once Bromelia gets introduced in a garden they just invade. That is exactly what is happening in our garden. 

While I do pull out other invaders but not this one. I like the look of a Bromelia and feel happy when I see it at places where it has never been planted. 

Bromelia gets suckers.  They start blooming when the season is right.  They hardly need any maintenance. All that they need is a bit of water.  Once the Bromelia blooms that plant on which it blooms dies and needs to be pulled out. 

I used to call it Bird of Paradise but Google helped me know its name.
