Blessing the new home

It is called house blessing or house warming which means the house is new to the residents so it wouldn’t matter if the  house is rented or owned and it also does not matter if the house is not really near. What matters for some people is the house should be blessed when they move to it.

We had our own house blessing in 2001. There were only few guests who are not really guests but carpenters doing the repairs. Our house is an old one so there were repairs done. Until now our house is still okay and I can say we are lucky to be living here.
