Another harvest of mangoes

In the picture are the 15 mangoes that I harvested from our tree in the backyard. For this season, it is the 13th harvest already and there are some more in the tree that I think would be good for 2 or more harvesting. It is a blessing to have a prolific tree because we get a lot of harvest that we can share with our relatives and friends.

Mangoes have a short shelf life so what we do is to harvest the green mangoes and make it into pickled mangoes. The pickled mangoes can last for months especially when kept in the fridge. But our pickled mangoes don’t last long because so many are requesting for it.
