Annoying insects in the backyard

We just harvested the banana in our backyard. It is our habit to check the harvested banana for insects clinging to the fruit. The white insects called aphids are annoying although it is not usual with the banana.

For every harvest we wash the fruits in water and sometimes when it is infested with insects we had to wash it with soap and water. There was a time that we soaked the bananas in water for a time so the insects would die. But the fruits are good with no damage whatsoever.
