All About the Conversation

I keep reading that it is all about the conversation now and still I see very few conversations. There a few who inspire and do it well and others who just seem to get a passing upvote and move on. It seems that there could be some interesting ways to generate conversation. So far, all my ideas have fallen flat.

It’s clear that there are topics that people are afraid to talk about. When you read the rules there are things we are not supposed to have conversations about. Is it really chit chat we are looking for or things that really matter.

  1. my favorite snack as a child – mango sticky rice. Why? it was the perfect combination of sweet but not too sweet.

when we left Thailand I spent years trying to find it in the US.
    i am still looking!

I think something that I struggled with the first and second time as a child was moving. We moved from Chicago (the greatest city on earth IMHO) to Bloomington Indiana. Our neighborhood in Chicago had more residents (125,000) than the entire country (Monroe) that Bloomington was in at the time (100,000).

it was hard on me at first.
